    With the 25th Annual Great Fire Engine Rally quickly approaching, those attending and/or participating are making and finalizing their plans.  One very important part of this plan is where to stay.  Hotel Lumiere has graciously offered not only to host the 1st Annual Firefighter’s Ball but has also offered rooms at their luxurious hotel at deeply discounted rates for those attending the Ball and/or Rally.  What better way to end an evening of dining, dancing, and mingling than by staying at Hotel Lumiere?

    The hotel is located on Laclede’s Landing on the beautiful St. Louis waterfront in the shadow of the Gateway Arch.  The Rally is being held on Lenora K. Sullivan Blvd. below the Arch and is within walking distance of Hotel Lumiere.  There are also plenty of great restaurants inside the Lumiere Casino and also within walking distance of the hotel.    So once you arrive at the hotel, you won’t have to drive to get to the Firefighter’s Ball on the 5th or the Rally on the 6th!  It’s an ever better deal when you consider gas prices these days.  If you’re flying in for the Rally, there’s no need to rent a car.  The Metrolink (St. Louis’ Mass Transit) starts at the airport and has a stop at Laclede’s Landing only two blocks from Hotel Lumiere.
